What I Learned About Day 1
As we head into the evening, I wanted to send follow up communication on today's e-learning process.
Here is what I learned today:
Wow! Your kids are amazing - I signed up for all teacher’s classrooms and your children worked SO hard today! Tell them to keep it up!
Our teacher’s are amazing - thank you staff!
When parents are connected to Google Classroom, they cannot see the actual “classroom”, but instead received a notification summary either daily or weekly
With this being said, if you would like to directly look at your child’s google classroom, please have them provide you with their log in, or log in and show you what they are doing daily.
Technology does not always work at the speed we need it to. Please remind your child to be patient, as we work through this. Our teachers are working on being patient as well.
Attendance each day is based on the discussion question from your child’s first block teacher. Please make sure your student answers that question.
I understand that many of you or your children may have been frustrated today. I will admit, as a parent, I had my own frustrations helping them through their work today. I want you to know that, it WILL get easier!
Our kids will learn the routine each teacher has for them and they are receiving instruction and learning right now that many schools are unable to provide so we are very blessed.
