Volunteer Opportunities

"Approved" Crusader Cash Volunteer Opportunities are listed below. If you have any doubts about volunteer time being approved, please email the Crusader Cash Committee.

Get your family & friends to volunteer for you too!  Be sure to submit a volunteer time sheet after they volunteer for you, note the Supervisor, date and help provided.  

Summer: June 1 - August 31

Building & Grounds needs help 

Do you enjoy working in the yard? being outdoors? flower beds need to be maintained Spring, Summer & early Fall.  If your family would like to EARN volunteer hours helping in the gardens around MCC email the Crusader Cash Committee

MCC Dream Garden grounds need to be cleaned, grasses need to be divided and new plants planted. Mulch needs to be spread late Aug.

Help teachers with updates in their classrooms. Many teachers  could use a hand June - Aug with updates & painting in their rooms.

Unity Festival help market MCC by working the Muskegon Catholic Information Booth

Parade Volunteers

Crusader Open is an annual golf outing fundraiser held the first Friday in August. Volunteer to help at the golf outing. Contact Amber Wallace.

After you volunteer - submit your online volunteer time sheet by August 31 to have a chance to WIN $100. 5 families will win $100

Fall: September 1 - December 31

Athletic Dept. 

  • selling & taking tickets at games
  • working concession stands 
  • driving sports team to events
  • volunteer coaching

Building & Grounds

  • helping with football field maintenance 
  • helping with grounds, planting flowers and yard care
  • Dream Garden needs Fall maintenance.


Race for Education is held in October this event is sponsored by the Elementary Home & School

  • Rainbow Auction is the largest fundraiser for MCC. The Rainbow Auction is a dinner & auction that raises money to help offset operating expenses for MCC. This event is held the end of April each year. Many many helping hands are needed to help with gathering items to Auction, set up & decorations, helping out during the event & clean up the next day. Contact Amber Wallace.
  • Fish Fry dinners are held during Lent each year. Help is needed to bread fish, food prep, set up, work during the dinners & clean up.
  • Spring Musical production is held each Spring. Behind the scene help is needed with make-up, costumes, lighting, stage props, and much more.
