Because the tuition pays for only 50-55% of the actual cost of educating a student, successful fundraising is very important to the Muskegon Catholic Schools. Major fund-raising activities such as the Magazine Drive and the Rainbow Auction supply essential income for the general operating budget.
In addition, individual schools conduct yearly fund-raisers, and family associations, clubs, and athletic teams conduct regular fundraising events such as concerts, steak fries, fish fries, book sales, yard sales, and flower sales.
