HOW TO LEAVE A LEGACY TO MUSKEGON CATHOLIC SCHOOLS
1. Name MCEF in your will – “I give, devise and bequeath the sum of $________ (or % of my estate) to Muskegon Catholic Education Foundation, a Michigan not-for-profit corporation having its principal office at 1851 Barclay, Muskegon, MI, for its general charitable purposes."
2. Participation in a life-income arrangement — MCEF partners with the Community Foundation for Muskegon to offer charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts. These unique gift instruments provide you with income for the rest of your life, and the proceeds at the time of your death are given tax-free to MCEF.
3. Name MCEF as the beneficiary of a retirement plan (IRA) or life insurance policy.
4. Establish an endowed named fund at MCEF. Scholarship, field of interest, or unrestricted funds can be established in your name and will remain in perpetuity.

ESTATE GIFTS
Listed below are those whose estate gifts have been received to establish a fund. We carry these forward, in perpetuity, thankfully remembering and honoring these persons and their loyalty and vision for MCS.
Their gifts are now held in MCEF endowment funds and continually contribute to furthering the mission of MCS. (Omissions from the list are unintentional; we welcome additional and updated information).
