November 2009- Mychal Galla ('07) was rewarded the "Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association special teams player of the week." He is a Junior at Albion College. He booted field goals of 27 yards & 38 yards, was 4-for-4 on extra points and placed four of his six punts inside the Kalamazoo 20-yard line, including two at the 1-yard line and another at the 2-yard line.

Galla also earned second-team football all-conference honors in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. He has made 8 out of 12 field goals, 17 of 18 extra points, and averaged 33.6 yards on punts.
